Holding

The bail petition was dismissed as there were no fresh grounds to revisit the earlier order.

Summary

The petitioner, Saurabh Kumar Singh, was arrested in connection with a case registered under multiple sections of the Bihar National Security Act, 2023 and the Arms Act for allegedly short-firing at an informant. He previously applied for bail, which was denied by the Patna High Court in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 27561 of 2025. The petitioner filed a fresh bail application, arguing no new circumstances had arisen. The court examined whether any fresh ground existed to revisit the earlier bail order. Finding none, the court rejected the bail petition, maintaining the petitioner’s custody.
