GAJANAN PRAKASH POTHKANTWARversusSTATE OF MAHARASHTRA AND OTHERS

Disposal
DISPOSED OFF

Holding

The petition is disposed of, with liberty granted to the petitioner to file appropriate litigation against the Education Officer's order.

Summary

The petitioner, Gajanan Prakash Pothkantwar, filed a continuous petition (No. 139 of 2015) challenging an order passed by the Education Officer. The petitioner later informed the court that, due to a subsequent event, there was nothing left to pursue in the petition. The court, upon hearing the petitioner's counsel, accepted this submission. Consequently, the court disposed of the petition, granting the petitioner liberty to initiate appropriate litigation to challenge the Education Officer's order if desired. No substantive merits of the original challenge were addressed.
