Bombay High Court

Rauf Nyaju PatelversusRajesh Agrawal and Others

Disposal
DISPOSED OFF

Holding

The court held that the contempt order had been complied with and therefore disposed of the contempt petition.

Summary

The petitioner, Rauf Nyaju Patel, filed a contempt petition against Rajesh Agrawal and others, alleging non‑compliance with a prior contempt order. The learned Government Pleader informed the court that the contempt order had been complied with by concluding the departmental enquiry, and the petitioner consented to this compliance. The petitioner, however, expressed grievance that all officers under enquiry were exonerated, noting that any further challenge must be pursued through appropriate proceedings. The court directed the Government Pleader to file a compliance report within a week. Finding that the contempt order had been satisfied, the court disposed of the contempt petition.
