TUKARAM PANDITRAO DANDGEversusSMT V RADHA

Disposal
DISPOSED OFF

Holding

The Court disposed of the contempt petition on the basis of the respondents' undertaking to fix the revised pay.

Summary

The petitioners filed a contempt petition alleging that the respondents had not fixed their revised pay as ordered. Respondent No.3 produced a communication dated 13.01.2026 stating that the revised pay, including advance increment, would be fixed under the 6th and 7th Pay Commissions and that the process would take four to five months. The communication was marked as an undertaking to the Court. The Court accepted this undertaking as sufficient compliance and therefore disposed of the contempt petition without further proceedings. No substantive order on the payment itself was made, as the matter was left to the ongoing pay‑fixation process.
