Disposal
DISPOSED OFF

Holding

The Court directed the respondents to decide on the representation within twelve weeks and disposed of the writ petition without addressing its merits.

Summary

The Maharashtra Rajya Kharedi Vikri Sangathana filed writ petition No. 10697 of 2021 before the Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench, seeking a direction to the Transport Commissioner to decide on a representation it had sent via email on 13 July 2021. The petitioner alleged that the respondents had not yet taken a decision on the representation. The Court, without examining the substantive merits of the petitioner's contentions, ordered the respondents to consider the representation, if not already done, and to communicate their decision within twelve weeks of receiving this order. The direction was issued jointly by Justices Nitin B. Suryawanshi and Vaishali Patil Jadhav. Consequently, the writ petition was disposed of, with the Court’s order focusing solely on procedural compliance by the respondents.
