Holding
The petition is dismissed for default due to the petitioner's non‑appearance.
Summary
The petitioner, Mahfooz Islam Mohammad Khan, filed a criminal writ petition in the Bombay High Court. No representative appeared for the petitioner either in person or via video conference. The Court had previously ordered that any objections be removed by 24 June 2026, failing which the petition would be dismissed. As the petitioner remained absent and no objections were raised, the Court, citing heavy rainfall and procedural defaults, postponed the hearing to 27 July 2026 and ultimately dismissed the petition for default. The dismissal was entered without any substantive consideration of the merits.
