DNYANESHWAR PRALHADRAO RENGEversusTHE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA THR ITS SECRETARY AND OTHERS

Disposal
DISPOSED OFF

Holding

The petition is dismissed as the matter is already decided in an earlier judgment, and the respondents are directed to comply with the earlier order.

Summary

The petitioner, Dnyaneswar Pralhadrao Renge, filed a writ petition seeking inclusion in the Shalarth Pranali and issuance of a Shalarth ID. The Court observed that the issues raised were identical to those decided in Writ Petition No.1520/2026 dated 04.03.2026. Relying on that precedent, the Court disposed of the present petition. It directed Respondent Nos.5 and 6 to furnish specific documents within four weeks, after which the Divisional Deputy Director of Education must consider the petitioner’s proposal and, if no deficiency is found, include the petitioner in the Shalarth Pranali and issue a Shalarth ID within another four weeks. The petition was therefore dismissed as the matter had already been settled.
