Holding
The Court found a prima facie contempt case but deferred contempt proceedings, granting the opposite party three months to comply with the original order.
Summary
M/s Madhav Traders filed a contempt application alleging that Mukesh Tripathi, Secretary of Krishi Utpadan Mandi Samiti, willfully disobeyed the High Court's order dated 29‑08‑2025 in Civil Misc. Writ Petition No. 21324 of 2025. The order had been served on 08‑09‑2025 but remained unimplemented. The Court found a prima facie case of contempt but, without issuing a notice, granted the opposite party an additional three months to comply, subject to procedural steps involving stamped envelopes. The Court directed the applicant to provide the necessary envelopes and stipulated that the opposite party must inform the applicant of compliance within a week of receiving the order. If compliance fails, the applicant may approach the Court again. The contempt application was therefore disposed of at this stage.
