Allahabad High Court

DHIRENDRA KUMAR UPADHYAYversusBHUPENDRA SINGH DISTRICT BASIC EDUCATION OFFICER

Decided

Holding

The contempt application is consigned to the record as the writ order has been complied with.

Summary

The applicant filed a contempt application alleging that the opposite party had failed to comply with the order dated 29‑01‑2026 in Writ‑A No.1092 of 2026, which required consideration of the applicant's claim. The court examined the instructions produced, which showed an order dated 05‑09‑2026 deciding the applicant's representation, thereby indicating compliance with the writ order. Consequently, the court held that the original writ order had been fulfilled. The court directed that a copy of the instructions be supplied to the applicant's counsel and recorded the instructions as Appendix‑A. The contempt application was consigned to the record, leaving it open for the applicant to raise any further questions before the appropriate forum. The Vakalatnama of the opposite party’s counsel was also taken on record.
