Decided

Holding

The contempt petition is consigned to record as the alleged non‑compliance is evidenced by the instructions and FIR and is not contested.

Summary

A contempt petition was filed by Adeeba Hashmi alleging that the respondents, including Deputy Commissioner of Police Vivek Kumar Yadav, failed to comply with an order issued in Civil Misc. Writ Petition No. 52588 of 2014 (Razeena Bano & Another Vs. State of U.P. and 3 others). The petitioner produced instructions dated 15 September 2026 along with an FIR dated 13 September 2026, which were not contested by the respondents. The court noted that the instructions and FIR were accepted as evidence of the alleged non‑compliance. Since the factual material was not disputed, the court ordered that a copy of the instructions be served on the petitioner’s counsel. The contempt application was consequently consigned to the record. The instructions were taken on record as Appendix‑A.
