Allahabad High Court

BAL KRISHNA GUPTAversusSHRI ANUJ KUMAR PANDEY, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Decided

Holding

The contempt application was dismissed because the alleged dues had been fully paid, rendering the application infructuous.

Summary

The applicant, Bal Krishna Gupta, filed a contempt application alleging that the opposite party had not paid his salary arrears and retiral dues. The court examined a personal affidavit filed in a related case (Contempt Application No.2193 of 2025) which stated that the outstanding dues were fully paid on 13 March 2026. Since the payment was confirmed, the court found no basis for contempt. Consequently, the contempt application was deemed infructuous and dismissed. The contempt notice was also discharged.
