- Decided

Holding
The court found a prima facie case of contempt but disposed of the application, granting the opposite party time to comply and setting procedural steps.
Summary
Vijay Singh Nagar filed a contempt application against Mrs. Geeta Chaudhary, alleging willful disobedience of a judgment dated 11‑03‑2026 in Writ‑A No. 57124 of 2017 (Mool Chand Sharma v. State of U.P. & 4 others). The applicant claimed the order was served but not complied with. The court observed that a prima facie case of contempt existed but, instead of issuing a notice, granted the opposite party three months to comply and directed the applicant to provide stamped envelopes for service of the order. The opposite party was instructed to comply with the writ court’s directions and inform the applicant within a week of receipt. The court held that if compliance is not achieved, the applicant may approach the court again, and disposed of the contempt application at this stage.
