Decided

Holding

The contempt petition is consigned to the record, permitting the applicant to seek redress in the appropriate forum.

Summary

The applicant, Dinesh Singh, filed a contempt petition alleging that the District Magistrate, Mrs. Kavita Meena, failed to comply with a High Court order dated 18 July 2025 in Writ C No. 21926 of 2025, which required consideration of the applicant’s application. The court examined the matter and noted that instructions dated 2 April 2026 showed the representation had been decided, a fact not contested by the applicant. The court ordered that a copy of these instructions be served on the applicant’s counsel.
