Allahabad High Court

GUDDI DEVIversusSHRI ABHISHEK KUMAR, CIVIL JUDGE (S.D.)/ FAST TRACK COURT

Decided

Holding

The contempt petition is consigned to the record, leaving the matter open for the applicant to approach the appropriate forum for relief.

Summary

The applicant, Guddi Devi, filed a contempt petition alleging that the opposite party, Shri Abhishek Kumar, failed to comply with a High Court order dated 10 November 2025 under Article 227, which required him to consider the applicant's application. The court examined the instructions produced by the respondent's counsel, which indicated that the 6-C application was decided on 15 September 2026. The applicant's counsel did not dispute this fact. Consequently, the court directed that a copy of the instructions be served on the applicant's counsel and consigned the contempt petition to the record, allowing the applicant to challenge the order in the appropriate forum. No further punitive action was taken pending such challenge.
