Decided

Holding

The contempt petition is consigned to the record as the order has been complied with according to the instructions produced.

Summary

The applicant, Bhaskar Bhattacharya, filed a contempt petition alleging that the respondents, including the Principal Secretary, Gramya Vikas Vibhag, failed to comply with an order dated 24‑02‑2026 issued in Writ A No. 6651 of 2018 and affirmed on intra‑court appeal. The State Law Officer produced instructions indicating that the order had been complied with. The applicant’s counsel did not dispute the existence of those instructions.
