The contempt application is consigned to the record as the order of the Writ Court has been substantially complied with.
Summary
The applicant, Baldev, filed a contempt application alleging willful defiance of an order dated 20‑02‑2026 passed in Writ‑A No. 2584 of 2026. The High Court heard the matter without giving notice to the opposite party, where counsel Munna Pandey produced an order dated 28‑09‑2026 concerning the applicant’s representation. The Court examined whether the order of the Writ Court had been complied with and whether the contempt allegation was maintainable. Finding that the Writ Court’s order had been substantially complied with, the Court consigned the contempt application to the record, allowing the applicant to raise any further grievance before the appropriate forum. The Court directed that a copy of the instructions be served on the applicant’s counsel and recorded the instructions as Appendix ‘A’.
