Holding
The Court dismissed the contempt application as infructuous.
Summary
M/s Niranjan Sales and two others filed a contempt application seeking to summon Ms M. Arunmozhi and punish her for allegedly willfully disobeying an order dated 13 July 2026 in Writ‑C No.26309 of 2026. The applicants argued that without such relief they would suffer irreparable loss and injury. The learned standing counsel raised no objection to the application. The Court examined the prayer and found that the writ petition had become infructuous, as the relief sought could no longer be granted. Consequently, the Court dismissed the petition as infructuous, without ordering any contempt sanction.
