Allahabad High Court

SUSHIL AND 3 OTHERSversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 3 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.

Summary

The petitioners filed a criminal miscellaneous writ petition (No. 10673 of 2025) before the Allahabad High Court. The Coordinate Bench had earlier ordered the petitioners to deposit Rs 25,000 by 26 May 2025. The petitioners failed to make the deposit and did not appear for the revised call. The learned Additional Government Advocate, appearing for the State, highlighted this non‑compliance. The Court, noting the failure to obey the order and the absence of counsel, dismissed the writ petition for want of prosecution and discharged any interim relief. The dismissal was recorded on 29 September 2026.
