Allahabad High Court

AJEET KUMAR BIND AND 7 OTHERSversusSTATE OF UP AND 2 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

Leave to withdraw the writ petition was granted.

Summary

Petitioners filed a criminal miscellaneous writ petition seeking relief against the State. During hearing, counsel for the petitioners requested permission to withdraw the petition, stating they would pursue any appropriate remedy elsewhere. The State's Attorney General raised no objection to this request. The Court considered the innocuous nature of the prayer and the lack of opposition, and consequently granted leave to withdraw. The petition was therefore disposed, allowing the petitioners to seek other legal remedies as they see fit.
