Allahabad High Court

SRI SANJAY RAJBHARversusTHE STATE OF U.P. AND 6 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

A writ petition may be dismissed as withdrawn when the petitioner seeks withdrawal and there is no objection from the respondent.

Summary

The petitioner, Sri Sanjay Rajbhar, filed Criminal Miscellaneous Writ Petition No. 18651 of 2026 before the Allahabad High Court. The investigation in the matter had already been concluded, and a final report dated 25.05.2026 was issued in favor of the petitioner. The petitioner later expressed a desire to withdraw the writ petition, and the learned Additional Government Advocate (AGA) raised no objection to this request.
