Holding

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to approach the appropriate forum later.

Summary

The petitioner, Suraj Verma, filed a criminal miscellaneous writ petition in the Allahabad High Court challenging the proceedings against him. During the hearing, the petitioner's counsel, Vijay Kumar, informed the court that the investigation had been completed and a charge sheet had been filed, and that the petitioner no longer wished to pursue the writ petition, seeking to withdraw it while reserving the right to approach the appropriate forum later. The respondent's Additional Government Advocate (AGA) raised no objection to the withdrawal. The court, noting the petitioner's clear intention to withdraw, dismissed the writ petition as withdrawn, granting the petitioner liberty to approach the appropriate forum at a later stage.
