Decided

Holding

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to approach the appropriate forum at a later stage.

Summary

Petitioners Madan Singh and three others filed a criminal miscellaneous writ petition challenging the continuation of criminal proceedings. The State disclosed that the investigation was complete and a charge-sheet had been filed against the petitioners on 27 July 2026. The petitioners, through counsel, did not contest these facts but expressed a desire to withdraw the writ petition, reserving the right to approach the appropriate forum later. The Court, noting the petitioners' request, dismissed the writ petition as withdrawn, granting them liberty to approach the appropriate forum at a later stage.
