Allahabad High Court

SANDEEP KUMAR SINGH AND 2 OTHERSversusSTATE OF UP AND 4 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The Court allowed the petitioners to withdraw the writ petition, granting them liberty to seek appropriate remedies elsewhere.

Summary

The petitioners, Sandeep Kumar Singh and two others, filed a criminal miscellaneous writ petition before the Allahabad High Court. After hearing, the petitioners' counsel sought permission to withdraw the petition, stating they would pursue any appropriate remedy elsewhere. The State, represented by the Additional Government Advocate, raised no objection to the withdrawal request. The Court, after considering the innocuous nature of the prayer and the lack of opposition, granted leave for the petitioners to withdraw the writ petition. Consequently, the petition was disposed of, allowing the petitioners to seek other legal remedies in the appropriate forum.
