Allahabad High Court

JEETUversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 3 OTHER

Decided

Holding

The court allowed the withdrawal of the writ petition and dismissed it.

Summary

Petitioner Jeetu filed a criminal miscellaneous writ petition challenging the proceedings against him. The State informed the court that the investigation was complete and a charge sheet had been filed on 20‑06‑2026. The petitioner did not contest this fact but expressed his desire to withdraw the petition, reserving the right to approach the appropriate forum later. The court considered the petitioner's request and, noting the withdrawal, dismissed the writ petition while granting liberty to approach a suitable forum at a later stage. The petition was thus dismissed as withdrawn.
