The revision is dismissed as infructuous because the acquittal makes further proceedings unnecessary.
Summary
Arun Kumar Sinha, the revisionist, was acquitted by the trial court in a criminal matter. He filed Criminal Revision No. 3852 of 2024 before the Allahabad High Court, seeking dismissal of the revision on the ground that the matter had become infructuous. The learned Additional Government Advocate (AGA) raised no objection to the revisionist's prayer. The Court examined whether any further proceedings were necessary after the acquittal. Finding that the trial court's acquittal rendered the revision moot, the Court dismissed the revision as infructuous.
