Allahabad High Court

JITENDRA SINGHversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 2 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The order of suspension is valid and the petition is dismissed.

Summary

The petitioner, Jitendra Singh, filed a writ petition (Writ‑A No. 14457 of 2026) challenging the order of suspension dated 17 August 2026 issued by the State of Uttar Pradesh. The petition sought to set aside the suspension on the ground that it was illegal. The learned Judge perused the impugned order and found no infirmity in it. Consequently, the Court was not inclined to interfere with the suspension. The petition was dismissed, but the Court directed that the petitioner be allowed to participate in the pending departmental proceedings, which should be concluded expeditiously.
