Allahabad High Court

SMT. SAKSHI SINGH AND 12 OTHERSversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 2 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The Court ordered that the writ petition not be pressed, effectively dismissing it pending the petitioners' intervention in the special appeal.

Summary

The petitioners, Smt. Sakshi Singh and 12 others, filed a writ petition challenging a transfer order, arguing that the order was issued pursuant to a Division Bench decision in Special Appeal No. 398 of 2026. They sought to stay or withdraw the writ petition because they intended to intervene in the said special appeal. The respondents, the State of U.P. and two others, opposed the petition.
