Allahabad High Court

YOGENDRA KUMARversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 3 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The petition is dismissed; the Court will not interfere with the suspension order.

Summary

Petitioner Yogendra Kumar, a sweeper in the Panchayati Raj Department, filed a writ petition challenging a suspension order dated 5 August 2026 issued by the District Panchayat Raj Officer, Aligarh. He sought certiorari to quash the order and mandamus to restrain the respondents from interfering with his peaceful work. The petition alleged serious misconduct but did not provide sufficient material to justify judicial interference. The learned Single Judge held that the allegations were of a serious nature that required internal disciplinary procedure, not court intervention. Consequently, the Court declined to entertain the petition and dismissed it.
