The Court directed the respondent to decide the representation within two months and disposed the writ petition.
Summary
The petitioner, Harish Kumar, filed a writ petition seeking a mandamus directing the State of U.P. and other respondents to accept his managerial contribution for grant of General Provident Fund, pay salary arrears of Rs. 3,66,773 from 5 Oct 1987 to July 1993, and settle pensionary dues, as well as to decide a representation dated 11 June 2026. The petition also requested any other appropriate relief. The learned Standing Counsel raised no objection and the parties consented to decide the matter at the admissions stage. The Court, noting that further adjudication would not serve any fruitful purpose, ordered the Regional Deputy Director (Secondary Education), Aligarh, to consider and decide the representation within two months of service of the certified copy of the order. Consequently, the writ petition was disposed off without a substantive hearing on the merits.
