Allahabad High Court

KRISHNANAND NIRANJANversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 3 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The Court dismissed the writ petition and directed the petitioner to file a fresh representation for consideration by the respondent.

Summary

Petitioner Krishnanand Niranjan filed a writ petition seeking a mandamus directing Respondent No.3 to release his arrears of salary with interest. The petitioner claimed the salary claim was pending before the respondents. The State's standing counsel suggested that a fresh representation by the petitioner would be decided in a time‑bound manner. The Court directed the petitioner to file a fresh representation, attaching a certified copy of the order, within one month, and ordered the respondent to decide the matter preferably within two months thereafter. Consequently, the writ petition was disposed.
