Allahabad High Court

RAVINDRA NATH SINGHversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 4 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The petition was disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file a fresh representation for consideration by the respondents.

Summary

The petitioner, Ravindra Nath Singh, filed a writ petition before the Allahabad High Court seeking payment of his pension. He alleged that the respondents, the State of Uttar Pradesh and others, had failed to process his pension claim. The petition was heard by a learned Senior Advocate for the petitioner and counsel for the respondents. The Court observed that the petition could be disposed of by directing the petitioner to file a fresh representation containing all relevant facts and documents. It ordered that the respondents consider the fresh representation expeditiously, preferably within eight weeks. Consequently, the petition was disposed of without a substantive order on the pension claim.
