Allahabad High Court

SANJAY KUMAR YADAVversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 4 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The writ petition is dismissed as premature because the petitioner failed to comply with the earlier order to submit documents.

Summary

The petitioner, Sanjay Kumar Yadav, had earlier obtained a quashing of orders that cancelled his appointment and withheld his salary in Writ A No.13959 of 2019, with the court directing the respondents to pass appropriate orders. In compliance, the respondents issued an order on 17 February 2026 requiring the petitioner to submit all educational documents to conclude the inquiry. Instead of complying, the petitioner filed a new writ petition (Writ A No.6019 of 2026) alleging premature action by the respondents. The court observed that the petitioner had not responded to the earlier direction and that the present petition was premature. Consequently, the court dismissed the writ petition and allowed the respondents to complete the inquiry within two months. The dismissal underscores the principle that a petitioner must first comply with procedural directions before seeking further relief.

In compliance with the aforesaid directions, an order dated 17.02.2026 has

The respondents shall be at liberty to proceed in accordance with law and
