Allahabad High Court

HARIDARSHAN KUMAR SINGHversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 6 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The petition is dismissed with liberty to file a fresh petition with better particulars.

Summary

The petitioner, Haridarshan Kumar Singh, filed a writ petition before the Allahabad High Court challenging an action of the State of U.P. and other respondents. The petition was found to be deficient in particulars, prompting the petitioner’s counsel to seek liberty to file a fresh petition with better particulars. The learned Standing Counsel for the State raised no objection to this request. The Court, after considering the submissions, granted the liberty to file a fresh petition and ordered the petitioner to deposit a cost of Rs.500/- with the High Court Bar Association within two weeks. No substantive merits of the original petition were addressed, as the matter was disposed of on procedural grounds.
