ASHISH KUMAR AND 3 OTHERSversusBANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY AND 2 OTHERS

The Court held that the petitioners' prayer for consideration of regularisation can be entertained and directed the respondent to decide the claim within six months.

Summary

The petitioners, Ashish Kumar and three others, filed a writ petition seeking regularisation of their appointments as Junior Clerk Level‑II at Banaras Hindu University. They specifically pressed the first part of the second prayer, asking that their claim be considered for regularisation.
