The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
Summary
The petitioner, Sanjeev Kumar Verma, had previously been granted a minimum pay scale of Rs.18,000 with arrears by the authorities. On the basis of this relief, his counsel, Lallan Prasad Pal, moved that the present writ petition had become infructuous and sought its withdrawal. The Court accepted the withdrawal and dismissed the petition as withdrawn. It further directed that the benefits already granted to the petitioner would continue until his superannuation, subject to satisfactory performance, and that termination could only occur after due process and a hearing. The case was ordered to be delinked from other matters and removed from the cause list.
