Allahabad High Court

SUKHAIversusD.D.C. AND OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.

Summary

The petitioner, Sukhai, filed a writ petition before the Allahabad High Court. The court had previously deferred the matter on 21 April 2026 because the petitioner had not filed a vakalatnama and the undelivered cover was not returned. On the date of hearing, no representative of the petitioner appeared to press the petition. Consequently, the court dismissed the writ petition for want of prosecution, noting that the petitioner may file an application with an affidavit to seek recall of the order. The dismissal was ordered on 12 May 2026.
