The Court directed the Sub Divisional Magistrate to decide the pending case within two months, without unnecessary adjournments.
Summary
The petitioner, Bunela, filed a writ petition seeking a direction to the Sub Divisional Magistrate of Tehsil Kasiya, District Kushinagar, to decide a revenue case (No. T202605440402531) filed under Section 67-A of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. The petitioner alleged that despite a considerable lapse of time, no final decision had been rendered. The Court examined the petition and the record, noting the delay in adjudication. It ordered the respondent magistrate to decide the case strictly in accordance with law, expeditiously, and preferably within two months, prohibiting unnecessary adjournments. The petition was therefore disposed with the relief granted.
