Holding
The writ petition is dismissed, directing the petitioner to approach the Motor Accident Claim Tribunal within two months for relief.
Summary
Petitioner Shri Jagpal Singh filed a writ petition seeking a direction to the Motor Accident Claim Tribunal (South), Meerut, to release Rs. 4,00,000 that had been fixed and deposited by the Tribunal in Motor Accident Claim No. 99 of 2026. The petitioner argued that the Tribunal should be compelled to release the amount. The Court observed that the appropriate forum for such a grievance is the Tribunal itself, which must consider the petition within two months of receiving the certified copy of its order, subject to any legal impediment and the finality of the award. Consequently, the Court declined to issue any notice to the respondents and disposed of the writ petition. The order essentially directs the petitioner to approach the concerned Tribunal for relief.
