Allahabad High Court

SMT. VIMLA MISHRAversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 2 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The writ petition is dismissed as it has become infructuous.

Summary

Smt. Vimla Mishra filed a writ petition in the Allahabad High Court seeking an order for mutation of her property. The respondents, including the State of U.P., filed a compliance affidavit stating that the application for mutation had already been decided by an order dated 03.09.2026, and the relief sought by the petitioner had been granted. The Court examined the record and found that the petitioner’s relief was already satisfied. Consequently, the Court held that the writ petition had become infructuous. The petition was therefore dismissed.
