Allahabad High Court

SANJU RAWAT AND 2 OTHERSversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 2 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous because no cause of action remains.

Summary

The petitioners, Sanju Rawat and two others, filed a writ petition before the Allahabad High Court. They later informed the Court that their grievance had already been resolved by the Agra Development Authority, rendering the petition without a surviving cause of action. The petitioners’ counsel moved that the petition be dismissed as infructuous, and the respondents’ counsel raised no objection. The Court considered the submission that no cause of action remained. Consequently, the Court dismissed the writ petition as infructuous.
