DEEPAK SOLANKIversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 8 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The Court directed the Additional Commissioner (Administrative), Agra Division, to decide the pending restoration application within four months.

Summary

The petitioner, Deepak Solanki, filed a restoration application on 24‑12‑2025 seeking to recall an ex parte order dated 18‑12‑2025 that had been passed in Revision No. 1395 of 2023 under Section 210 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006. The application remained pending before the Additional Commissioner (Administrative) of Agra Division. The petitioner moved this Court for a writ of mandamus under Section 207 of the same Code, directing the Commissioner to decide the pending application within a time‑frame fixed by the Court. The State’s standing counsel raised no objection to such a direction.
