Decided

Holding

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to approach the authorities.

Summary

The petitioner, Rahul Jaiswal, filed Writ No. 34689 of 2026 before the Allahabad High Court seeking relief against the Union of India and three other respondents. During the hearing, the petitioner’s counsel moved that the petition be dismissed as withdrawn, requesting liberty to approach the appropriate authorities. The standing counsel for the respondents and the counsel for respondent No.3 did not oppose this prayer. The Court considered the request and, finding no objection, allowed the petition to be dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, the petition was dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the relevant authorities, and no substantive merits of the original claim were adjudicated.
