SARITAversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 5 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The writ petition is dismissed as the petitioner withdrew it to seek relief in another forum.

Summary

The petitioner, Sarita, filed a writ petition challenging a communication dated 19 September 2026 issued by the State of U.P. and others. The High Court, after receiving the standing counsel's written instructions, noted that the petition only challenged the communication and could not proceed. The petitioner then sought to withdraw the writ petition to pursue the challenge in a more appropriate forum. The Court entertained the request and dismissed the writ petition, granting the petitioner liberty to withdraw. Consequently, the petition was dismissed without adjudicating the merits of the communication.
