Allahabad High Court

MAHENDRA PAL SAGARversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 5 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The writ petition was disposed of without notice, directing the petitioner to pursue the matter before the Three Members Committee.

Summary

Mahendra Pal Sagar filed Writ No. 35713 of 2026 challenging actions of the State of Uttar Pradesh and five other respondents. The petitioner had already submitted a representation dated 27‑07‑2026 to the Joint Director of Education (Secondary), Bareilly, seeking redress before a Three Members Committee. The Court observed that, in the absence of a notice to the contesting respondents, the writ petition could be disposed of because the matter was pending before the Committee. Accordingly, the Court dismissed the writ petition and directed the petitioner to file a fresh representation (Dasti) before the Committee. The Committee was instructed to hear the matter and issue a reasoned order within three months, as per the Government Order dated 19‑12‑2000, amended on 17‑06‑2026.
