MOBINversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 4 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

Summary

Mobin filed a writ petition challenging a final assessment order dated 04-04-2026 issued by the Executive Engineer of the Electricity Department. The respondents submitted the order to the court, and the petitioner, through counsel, subsequently sought to withdraw the petition and asked the court to dismiss it. The court considered the withdrawal request and, finding no objection, dismissed the writ petition as withdrawn, granting the liberty sought by the petitioner. No substantive merits of the assessment order were examined. The petition was therefore closed without any further adjudication.
