Allahabad High Court

RAJENDRA SINGHversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 3 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.

Summary

Petitioner Rajendra Singh filed a criminal miscellaneous writ petition challenging the proceedings against him. The State of U.P. and others filed a charge-sheet, after which the petitioner's counsel, Vijay Tripathi, moved that the writ petition be dismissed as not pressed. The Court considered that the filing of the charge-sheet rendered the petition moot. Consequently, the Court ordered the dismissal of the writ petition. No further orders were made.
