Summary

Petitioner Chhedi Lal filed a writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to decide Revision No. 5321 of 2024 (Mohd. Saeed v. Chhedi Lal) filed under Section 210 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. The petitioner argued that the revision had been pending since 2024 and was being adjourned without justification, and that Rule 183(4) of the U.P. Revenue Code Rules, 2016 requires a decision within six months of filing. Accordingly, the Court directed the respondent to dispose of the revision within the stipulated period. The writ petition was disposed of with the said direction.
