Allahabad High Court

RAMDEV AND 10 OTHERSversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 3 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The court directs the Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Pindra, to consider the pending representation/objection and pass an appropriate order within three months.

Summary

The petitioners, Ramdev and ten others, filed a writ petition seeking that their representation/objection dated 13 March 2026 be considered by the Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) of Tehsil Pindra, District Varanasi. They requested the court to direct the SDO to decide the matter. The court, without examining the merits, agreed to the petitioners' request on the parties' consent. It ordered the fourth respondent, the SDO, to consider the pending representation if it has not yet been decided and to pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within three months of receiving a certified copy of the judgment. The order also mandates that the SDO give an opportunity to all stakeholders before deciding. The writ petition was therefore disposed of with these procedural directions.
