Holding
The writ petition is disposed without granting mandamus, with an observation that the pending application shall be decided expeditiously within three months.
Summary
Petitioner Raj Kumar Chaudhary filed a writ petition seeking mandamus directing the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority to decide his application dated 11‑05‑2026 and to execute a sale/sub‑lease deed for a plot in NRI City. The petitioner relied on a Supreme Court decision in Civil Appeal No.11052 of 2025. The Court observed that keeping the writ petition pending served no useful purpose. With the parties' consent, the Court disposed of the petition without addressing the merits, directing that the pending application be decided expeditiously, preferably within three months of the order. The order was signed by the two judges of the Allahabad High Court.
