ANIRUDH SINGHversusSTATE OF U.P. AND 5 OTHERS

Decided

Holding

The writ petition was disposed without merits, directing the District Magistrate to decide the representation within 60 days.

Summary

The petitioner, Anirudh Singh, filed a writ petition alleging that a representation filed on 30 August 2025 before the District Magistrate, Deoria, was pending. The petition sought judicial intervention regarding the pending representation. The Court noted that the matter was sub‑judice before the District Magistrate and therefore refrained from examining the merits. It ordered that the District Magistrate consider and decide the representation within 60 days of the order. No substantive view on the merits was expressed, and the petition was disposed.
